The company “Lucky Ants” formerly known as “DV Group” was co-founded by Vladimir Prudnikov and Vadim Shpakovski.

In the beginning of 2009, Vladimir proposed Vadim to make a new Mac OS X application for storing and reusing pieces of code — “Snippets”. After informal agreement, development started.

In the Fall of 2009, “DV Group” released the first public Alpha of the “Snippets” application. Initial feedback was amazing, and users suggested lots of new features.

There were several Beta versions, and after months of development, in Spring of 2010, we released version 1.0. At the same time, “DV Group” was renamed to “Lucky Ants”.

Vladimir Prudnikov was co-founder who developed website and took care of its hosting and SEO.

Vadim Shpakovski was co-founder who designed and developed “Snippets” with Cocoa, designed website, took care of product support, worked on user feedback, and ran the company blog.

As “Snippets” app was growing, the guys started to see its future differently. And after some consideration, it was decided to go separately.

The company “Lucky Ants” does not exist since October of 2010. Version 1.2 is the latest update of the app released under this copyright.

Now Vladimir Prudnikov is the sole owner of the “Snippets” app and website. He is responsible for the future of this project.

Vadim Shpakovski is developing his own products: “CodeBox”, “Translator Free” and “Hunting”.

“Lucky Ants” are thankful to all the people who always contributed ideas and suggested new features for “Snippets”. The app is so useful and popular only thanks to YOUR feedback and constant involvement.

Thanks!
